Working from Home Dad

Working from Home is hard

Two years ago I decided to resign my office based job bacause I wanted to become my own boss. I wasn't sure if this involved mainly working from home, but I did know that as a DAD I wanted to spend more time with my 2 young children, and that being my own boss would enable me to do that, especially if I had a home based business.

I of course had some business plans that I wanted to implement, and while some of them where home based, there was some work that invloved me being out and about, and even the ocassional travel out of time if I wanted to earn some decent money.

At first working from home seemed a good idea, especially initailly with my wife also at home working on her plans to keep her own private house sales business running as well. I jumped in with full energy into my new found freedom of being my own boss, and being the archiietect of my desitiny, knowing that my success depended on my hard work and I didn't have to travel to an office, by job was home based. However reality has now struck, and while I'd still like o work from home, it is not quite as easy as I thought it would be, and there are a lot of things I've learnt about myself which I would never have given a second thought while working as an employee of someone else.
